Tézon was founded from a passion for Japanese tea and a belief that great products have the capability to bring people together.
Our work began with a simple idea: make exceptional Japanese tea more accessible while creating a deeper connection to the people, places, and traditions behind it.
Today, Tézon connects the Americas and Japan through tea, design, and culture, creating spaces and experiences where people can discover Japanese tea in a way that feels both authentic and approachable.
Connecting Japan and the Americas
Tézon works directly with Japanese tea producers and artisans to bring exceptional matcha, hojicha, loose-leaf teas, teaware, and ceramics to Mexico and United States, while also working with people within the community to create Japanese inspired works.
Our relationships with producers allow us to look beyond the finished product and understand the work behind it: the cultivar, the region, the harvest, the farming practices, the processing methods, and the generations of knowledge that shape each tea.
We believe that knowing where a product comes from changes the way we experience it.
